Cheap Ass Games: Condemned 2: Bloodshot

This game can be wrapped up pretty well as one of the most psychological thrillers of all times. No other game can match this games level of pure terror. The game builds off of the first with the controls being nearly the same. This time around there are four major changes. One of them is there is now a combo system with melee combat, that can be used to unleash vicious finishing moves. The second is a plus and minus at times, guns have more of a use in this game. This leads to some of the scenarios being not as scary as they could be cause you have a assault shotgun with you. The third thing is there is a upgrade system. If you pass a level you get a rating, if it is really good, you get the best upgrade, like a five shot stun gun or a knife for your left hand. The final difference is that forensics don't play as big of a role in the missions, which is kinda disappointing, because I loved the forensics in the first game, it was such an innovation to the horror genre. The games story is a bit hit and miss, like the first level being just a dream, not actually real. There are moments that terrified me to no end. Like being chased by a giant bear, or in the second level, being attacked by a meth addict. The final mission is a pure disappointment and the ending screams the fact there will be a third game in the series. But all in all, if you want a really suspenseful game that will scare you more then most games out there, pick up Condemned 2: Bloodshot for only $12.99 at Gamestop, it is worth the price. Out of a hundred it is a 85.
